Pellet activated carbon is an extruded cylindrical form of activated carbon and used in gas phase application due to its low pressure drop capability in the system. The CTC value is a test to determine the organic vapor adsorption capabilities and thus higher CTC% indicate superior adsorption, desirable in demanding purification scenarios.
